Abusive Patients

The Practice will not tolerate either physical or verbal abuse towards any of its staff.  The practice will immediately and without warning inform the police of assault, physical threat or the threat of violent behavior towards its staff and other members of the public using our premises.  Such action will also result in the patient being removed from the list of registered patients at the White House Surgery.

Patients who resort to abuse without the threat of physical aggression, may in the first instance be warned that their behavior will not be tolerated, and any repetition will result in the removal of the patient from the list of registered patients.   However, the Practice will reserve the right to immediately de-register a patient if it is felt that the level of abuse has broken the trust between the patient and staff of the surgery.
