You can also get general health advice 24 hours a day by calling NHS direct on 0845 46 47.
Home Visits are provided for those too sick to travel, and for the permanently housebound. Please be aware that it is always better to be seen in the surgery as the doctor will have all the resources to deal with your consultation to hand, it also provides the doctor with more time to see patients as they are not spending time traveling. If you are unable to travel to the surgery due to illness, please telephone the Surgery before 10 am with full details of your illness. Please be aware that home visits do consume a lot of the doctor's time. Please do not ask for a home visit if you are able to travel to the surgery.
Should you wish general medical advice you could call NHS Direct who are available 24 hours 0845 4647, or visit the NHS Direct Website.
